UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH CAROLINA'S MELVIN INGRAM & STEPHON GILMORE TAKEN EARLY IN THE 1ST ROUND OF NFL DRAFT

THE NFL DRAFT KICKED OFF LAST NIGHT AND A FEW GAMECOCKS WERE CHOSEN EARLY. USC CORNERBACK STEPHON GILMORE WAS TAKEN 10TH BY THE BUFFALO BILLS. GILMORE WAS PROJECTED AS A MIDDLE 2ND ROUND PICK AFTER DECLARING EARLY FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH CAROLINA. ALL OF THAT CHANGED WHEN GILMORE SHOWED HIS ASS AT THE NFL COMBINE AND SHOT TO A EARLY 1ST ROUND PROSPECT.
USC'S MR VERSATILE MELVIN INGRAM WAS ALSO PICKED UP WITH THE 18TH PICK BY THE CHARGERS. INGRAM DOMINATED DAMN NEAR EVERY GAME LAST YEAR ON THE DEFENSIVE SIDE OF THE BALL. HE EXPLODED AGAINST THE BULLDOGS BY SCORING TWO TOUCHDOWNS AND EVEN RECOVERED AN ONSIDE KICK.
