SAVE THE DATE: for some Vintage reconstructed with BAMBAH!

As if we needed another reason to fall in love with our proud one of its kind
Vintage "heaven" store in Dubai!

Founder and winner of the Emirates Woman awards, Maha Abdul Rasheed has created a new line
called 'VINTAGE RECONSTRUCTED' which focuses on vintage pieces with a twist.
Basically she has taken some of her favorite vintage pieces and slightly (or entirely) reconstructed
them to give them a new look.
Some of the sleeves have been changed, buttons repainted,
altered the fit by adding a waist for example, etc.
The purpose of this collection is to basically show people and icons how much fun you can have with vintage and how you can completely turn around a piece to suit it to your style and personality.
and who better to show us how VITAL some vintage pieces can be to your wardrobe,
and to make it your own is priceless!

The first collection in the Vintage Reconstructed line focuses on denim and plaid, two practical and timeless essentials for any fashionista’s wardrobe.

. “It’s all about experimenting with colors, fabrics, and letting your imagination speak for you”
says Maha Abdul Rasheed.

“I always encourage my customers to suit a vintage piece according to their personality and style by slightly or entirely transforming it; and Vintage Reconstructed is a small example of how this can be done”, adds Maha.

see  you all there!!!

FG10 Styles For Bambah's Jackie O Competition

Fashionistas gathered in Bambah to showcase their styling expertise on icon Jackie Onassis 'Kennedy'. For the competition each of us had a mannequin and the whole of bambah store to pick an outfit that resembles Jackie O style. Owner of Bambah Maha Abdul Rasheed had a tough time picking a winner as all of the outfits were brilliant and reflected Jackie O style, but in the end Art Director & stylist Diya Ajit stole Maha's heart...

My Jackie O outfit:
I decided to go for quite a simple look which I find reflects Jackie O 'Simple but elegant', I chose a mustard knee length skirt with a brown waistbelt, ruffled blouse
and a headscarf (which I tried to wrap as a bandana)

The gifts :)
