Yves Saint Laurent create Facebook inspired Eyeshadow!


We've had Apple Macbook Pro, the perfume, now meet the eyeshadow inspired by Facebook.


Big brands are increasingly turning to social media to canvas their friends and fans' opinions on their new product lines and upcoming launches, but French luxury fashion and beauty brand Yves Saint Laurent have taken the practice a step further and created an eyeshadow compact inspired by Facebook.

The four-colour palette called 'Devoted To Fans #1' feautes a Facebook-esque blue, black, white and grey, and will only be available to 'fans' of the Yves Saint Laurent Fragrances & Beauty Facebook page.

"This is a fitting tribute to a vibrant and passionate demonstration that Yves Saint Laurent is a modern and dynamic brand with consumers knowing the heart of its marketing strategy" said Damien Vincent, commercial director of Facebook France in a statement.

The colours are, to be honest, closer to their iconic YSL Rive Gauche fragrance packaging, but it's a neat piece of marketing and a nice way to reward their supporters with something special.
Only 1,650 of the palettes will be made available, and with 350,000 fans they are set to become highly sought-after, so make sure you show YSL the love before they go.

Lenny Kravitz, the next Ralph Lauren?


Musician Lenny Kravitz has announced that he is going global with his lifestyle and fashion brand.


Not content with conquering the music world with his inimitable style of psychedelic rock, and the silver screen with his bucket-full of attitude (yes, the gold eyeliner-sporting stylist in The Hunger Games was Lenny), Kravitz has caught the celebrity-turned-designer bug, and he's set his bar high.

The 48-year-old rocker diversified from his day job in 2003 when he founded Kravitz Design , a company specialising in innovative and dynamic design solutions for commercial and residential properties. Earlier this year, he dipped a toe into the world of fashion by collaborating with ethical footwear brand TOMS.

"The plan is to make it a lifestyle brand . . . my dream for this company. In the same way you would see Ralph Lauren or Giorgio Armani" he told CNN.
Furniture, bedding and clothing are high on the agenda, as well as an eco-resort on a farm he owns in Brazil next year.
Perhaps Kravitz will rope in his stylish actress daughter Zoe to consult on cuts and colours. Thanks to her kooky, pared-back style, the 23-year-old regularly graces best-dressed lists around the globe.

A sneak peek at Rihanna's new TV show, 'Styled To Rock', and her hunt for the next 'fashion sensation'.


Rihanna has a new teaser for her reality TV show, Styled To Rock , and she's on the hunt for the next "fashion sensation" - vague-speak for "designer", although there's a tweak on the ol' Project Runway format in that said sensation has to be a dab hand at styling as well.

"You are dope!" she tells one of the 12 hopefuls battling it out to dress a different star every week. "You're the bomb!" she says high-fiving another. The top prize is creating her outfit for Wireless - which, compared to PR's $100,000, spread in a glossy and fancy car, is pretty small time. Plus, we've already seen the winning outfit - a classic Rihanna flash-your-bum-and-tum hot-pants and crop-top number - as the festival was last week. The designer, though, is still being kept under wraps; their big moment, and they can't even bask in the glory - talk about being short-changed.


The singer won't be showing her face every week, so Henry Holland and Nicola Roberts from Girls Aloud (with a special appearance by Nicola Roberts from Girls Aloud's veneers) have been drafted in as co-hosts. Rihanna's stylist, Lysa Cooper, is also on hand as guru and as the Simon Cowell-ish ball-buster of the show choice quote: "They better bring their A-game"

Kate Moss saves George Michael’s life


British supermodel Kate Moss makes a life-saving cameo in George Michael's latest music video.


In the words of Gabrielle, dreams can come true - especially if you're Kate Moss and that dream involves George Michael.

The singer took to his Twitter page to confirm rumours that Kate had filmed a cameo in the video for his new single, White Light , which is said to be all about his recent battle with pneumonia.
"Oh and by the way, in the video, a certain supermodel (Kate) saves my life. We shot two endings, one with the heimlich menouvre...and one where she gives me full on CPR. Mouth to mouth. Not really," he tweeted. "But honestly, she is my saviour, on film at least."

It's not the first music video Moss has appeared in - she pole-danced in the video for The White Stripes' 'I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself' in 2003 and also appeared in Primal Scream's Some Velvet Morning video.

Men... Careful what Tight Jeans can do to you!!


The number of men suffering from painful testicular problems is on the rise - thanks to the current fashion for tight jeans, experts have claimed.




Medical experts, including Dr Hilary Jones, have reported an increase in injuries being caused by the jeans, which are favoured by celebs such as Russell Brand, Jude Law and Joey Essex.

The trendy denims are causing twisted testicles, bladder weakness and even urinary tract infections.
Low sperm count and fungal infections are also being put down to the tight-fitting jeans.

Yesterday Dr Jones, who is working with TENA on a project to highlight the dangers, said: ''I have seen several cases of men who have twisted their testicles due to wearing jeans that are far too tight.

''My advice would be to make sure you leave plenty of room around the groin area and that your pants and trousers feel comfortable so you're not being restricted in any way.

''Men who wear tight or ill-fitting trousers, or underwear which is restrictive around the groin area could be damaging their health.

''Wearing tight-fitting clothing over a prolonged period of time can lead to urinary tract infections leading to over-activity of the bladder - a type of bladder weakness as well as a low sperm count and fungal infections.
''Please don't put style before health.''

Katie Holmes ignores Tom Cruise and Embraces FASHION!

While the 'who gets what' palaver is played out in the courts and the tabloids, Holmes is quietly concentrating on her fashion line Holmes & Yang and is set to present her latest collection at New York Fashion Week for the first time. WWD reveal that the star's spring/summer 2013 collection, which she creates with designer partner Jeanne Yang, will be presented in a yet to be confirmed location at the start of September.

It has been reported that the 33-year-old has made New York her home in her bid to seek full custody of her six-year-old daughter with Cruise, Suri. Although the couple were based in California - where courts tend to favour joint custody in which both parents get a voice on how children are raised - Holmes has now set up home in Manhattan.

Holmes has been pictured in New York filming scenes as a guest judge on reality fashion TV show Project Runway, and counts Jennifer Lawrence and Malin Akerman as celebrity fans of the label. Holmes & Yang is stocked by Harvey Nichols in London and Barneys New York.

UK officially the most Designer Handbag CRAZY country


Britons are the most voracious online seekers of luxury bags as new research reveals the most searched handbag labels in the world.


Research carried out by the World Luxury Index™ showed that Britons accounted for 422 searches per 1000 internet users of most searched-for handbag brands, with home-grown label Mulberry as the most popular brand of choice.

The company examined over 130 brands, through 130 million searches across eight countries with American luggage label Coach coming out top. Mulberry came in eighth in a top 10 which features luxury heavyweights, Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Hermès.

The iconic Hermès Birkin is the most searched for model across all markets, with crocodile most sought after in the US, UK and France. Research also showed that Americans prefer their Birkin in orange, while Britons favour tan and the French, black.

The US also has the largest share of searches for Chanel's classic 2.55 style which is toted by Kate Moss, Diane Kruger and Linda Evangelista.
The study also noted that in Japan, consumers have somewhat fallen out of love with Louis Vuitton goods. The brand is ranked ninth in Japan - making it the only country where it does not rank in the top five.

Eva Longoria's Image Destroyed


Eva Longoria gets Photo 'chopped' beyond all recognition on the cover of Italian Amica magazine. And this is what FG10 would like to call as "Photoshop Butchery"!!

Remember Eva Longoria, the petite brunette from Desperate Housewives ? No? Well, she's been in loads of other things like, er, gosh, oh, you know… Still not ringing any bells? Well don't bother looking at the July issue of Italian Amica magazine, because whoever that South Pacific beach belle is staring out from the cover is, she looks absolutely nothing like Longoria.

Which is odd because the cover line - which incidentally appears to be parping out of the 'talent's' bottom - says 'Eva Longoria'.

Jane Fonda teaches You How to Look Young


Septuagenarian style-setter, Jane Fonda, does rock'n'roll with extreme elegance. So ladies, if you're worried about age, we guess you'd better worry about your wardrobe ;)


The 74 year old rocked the red carpet last night at the Los Angeles premiere of Aaron Sorkin's new TV show, The Newsroom , in a look that managed to be wild and extrovert but also devastatingly chic and actually, in the end, quite sensible.

A bronze leather biker jacket is something that any woman, whatever her age, might be a little wary of, but as Fonda demonstrated at Cannes last month in a sequinned evening gown by Atelier Versace, bronze is her colour - it works with her hair and is more flattering to the complexion than bright gold.

The jacket actually does all the work, although the beautifully cut, off-white trousers and cream satin v-neck T-shirt have a luxuriousness of their own which altogether make a sumptuous combination. Fonda's accessories all pick up the star color and the wide belt is flattering, drawing attention to a slim waist. And guess what, she's in flat sandals!! The result is relaxed and, unusually for these kind of occasions, comfortable. What's not to like?

Kim Kardashian imitates her mother for first ever Vogue cover


Reality TV star Kim Kardashian channelled her mother Kris Jenner for her L'Uomo Vogue cover shoot.

No matter if you're a newly-discovered Bambi-legged model or a global superstar on the scale of Rihanna, bagging a Vogue cover carries the ultimate cachet, and now the world's most famous reality TV star, Kim Kardashian, can add the role to her CV.

The curvaceous 31-year-old was photographed looking uncannily like her mother and manager, Kris Jenner, for the July/August issue of L'Uomo Vogue , the Italian Condé Nast title dedicated to men's style.

"My mother has always been the social glue holding the family together" Kim says, "she's a very dynamic woman who loves organizing parties, playing tennis, cooking with friends and relaxing in the pool."

Revelations in the accompanying interview show Kim to be the owner of 224 pairs of Christian Louboutin heels, and a rather odd superstitious disposition: "I always put clothes and family photos under the mattress, in case the house burns down".

Lindsay Lohan as Liz Taylor: First Promo Pic!


Lindsay Lohan really does look the part of Elizabeth Taylor. Whether she can act is another story, but there's something about her that just exudes Liz.

Monday, we brought you a behind-the-scenes pic of Lindsay as Elizabeth Taylor on the set of her new Lifetime biopic, Liz & Dick, which started filming.

Today? Lifetime has done us one better. The network's first official promo pic has hit the Internet - co-starring True Blood's Grant Bowler. Take a look:


According to a Lifetime source, the photo was shot last week at Lifetime studios and they went with black and white to portray the couple in a "classic" look.

Safe to say they succeeded, no?

Producer Larry Thompson said their chemistry "exploded" in early screen tests, which you can sort of see in the first shot of Bowler as Richard Burton.

There will be "as much sex as Lifetime will allow" between the pair, whose 18-year age difference mirrors that of Liz and Dick, who were married (twice).

Incidentally, the very first scenes were shot Monday morning starting around 9:30 a.m., featuring Liz and Dick on a yacht (docked at Marina del Rey).

Karl Lagerfeld sketches the Queen


Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld got busy with his pastels this afternoon to sketch Her Majesty's flotilla outfit - with a few 'modifications'.

That Karl Lagerfeld, he's a busy man and no mistake. Between preparations for his upcoming haute couture show Chanel's creative director found time in his diary to resume commentary duties for French TV channel France 2 's coverage of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee - a role that he first undertook for last year's royal wedding with characteristically cutting results.

But why have two jobs when you can have four? Voraciously tweeting his thoughts about the royal fashion to his social media fans all the while (sample: "For her role, for who she is, it is hard to imagine a different outfit that the Queen could have sported better"), his third hand - the one that wasn't holding the microphone or his mobile - got busy sketching Her Majesty in said outfit.

Lagerfeld, a confirmed royalist who admitted asking his parents to buy him his first television to watch Queen Elizabeth II's coronation, then proudly posted the result, complete with Union Flag background on Twitter.

It's a lovely pastel sketch in Lagerfeld's distinctive style, but we can't help but think he's played a little fast and loose with the Queen's senior designer Angela Kelly's designs adding a few fashionable 'flourishes' of his own.

Nor is it trimmed with all manner of gothic rufflery and frilly underskirts. And where are Her Majesty's trusty black handbag and crisp white gloves? Off with his head!

Karl Lagerfeld stars in music video with Snoop Dogg

Designer Karl Lagerfeld has teamed up with French musician Jean-Roch to star in his music video 'Saint-Tropez', which also features rapper Snoop Dogg.


Karl Lagerfeld often leaves us near-speechless (remember the time he called Adele too fat? ) well this time we're well and truly lost for words.

The Chanel creative director has somehow found the time - in-between redesigning hotels and staging decadent fashion shows at Versailles - to star in a music video. And that's not all - misbehaving rapper Snoop Dogg is also in this!!

Yes, the evidence is below, as French singer-songwriter Jean-Roch managed to persuade Lagerfeld to profess his love of Saint-Tropez, the south of France's coastal enclave for the rich and famous, where he staged an extravagant Chanel Resort show back in 2010.

Beware, the tune is ridiculously catchy. Altogether now: 'sitting on the dock, sitting on the dock…' ;-)
