18 YEAR OLD GREER SC TEENAGER BECOMES A STAR AFTER HIS VIDEO GOES VIRAL, APPEARS ON TODAY SHOW

An 18-year-old from Greer appeared on the Today show Monday morning after a video he posted of his own arrangement of an LMFAO went viral over the past few days. In a soulful voice that belies his age, the teen belts out a bluesy version of "I'm Sexy and I Know It." On his Facebook page, the teen, who goes only by Noah, says: "I'm an 18 year old singer/songwriter from South Carolina.

 

As you may have guessed, I'm obsessed with all things music. I love all kinds of music but most of what I write for myself is pretty organic. I'm not into a lot of effects and tricks. Just good melodies and lyrics with something to say." As of Monday morning, the video, that was posted on May 10, had more than 2.5 million pageviews, and was getting attention in several other countries. Apparently Noah's new found international fame has caught him by surprise. Monday morning, on his Facebook page he posted, "Ok,...I got through the show opening tease without throwing up!
